  • There is a mindfulness practice group in Nairn that meets on the first Tuesday of every month upstairs at the Seaforth Club from 7.00pm to 8.30pm. It is run by Mindful Forces – www.mindfulforces.com there is a focus on military personnel serving and ex-serving as well as their family members/dependents however, it is open to everyone in the community to try and build connections between military and civilian populations. You do not need to be experienced.

  • People's Health Trust funded Local People Programme, whereby TCV supports local people in Smithton and Culloden in working to benefit their communities and improve their neighbourhood at the same time. Local action can range from litter picks and wildflower planting days to creating a local newsletter, placing seating in play parks and organizing community events. These activities are decided and delivered with and by local residents and are supported by a community fund grant chest.
